Grateful ending 2020
I am grateful to be closing 2020 off in good health, employed, and with my family intact.
Usually I do a year-end reflection of all of my highlights and lowlights of the year, but this time I just want to be grateful that I'm still here and in good standing.
Many folks around the world are not as lucky -- jobless, homeless, losing family members, losing their businesses, losing their minds.
Nearly 4000 Americans are dying everyday due to the virus and the worst is coming over the next few months as we race to get vaccinated.
Friends - 2021 is contingent on us supporting one another.
My only ask is for everyone who is blessed to be closing this year out in good standing is to -
*Please pair up with one family or friend who isn't as fortunate as you. Check in, check up, support, and sacrifice your time.*
We learned this in 1st grade -- it's the buddy system.
The problem with being philanthropic is that we think we need to make an impact to thousands of lives and that deters our efforts.
When in reality, all it takes is everyone to make an impact to one life!
I wish you the best of health, happiness, and success in the new year. See you on the other side!
